  Excellent bike service. I recently moved to the area and needed an extra hand with my tubeless set up. I normally do all repairs and maintenance my self on my bikes but since moving I’ve been a bit overwhelmed. I purchased a set of tires for my gravel bike and had lots of issues with my rear tire where it couldn’t hold air in over night. I got frustrated that I had a defective tire after having them service my tire twice and asked if they can swap it out since it’s basically brand new. Without hesitation they swapped it out with a new one then and there and were very professional about it. I will 100% be coming back and can trust them with my bikes

  Four years after my last review - and the store is still excellent, and the staff as well. On the way out, I also caught the beginning of a great sunset over the store (see attached pic).

  Great store for outdoor wear and outdoor sporting goods. Great for biking, kayaking, camping, running, and more. Lots to choose from. Good staff and very helpful. It was sale day and very busy.

  Everyone at REI is great! They were extremely patient and eager to help me choose the product that was the best fit.
  
  The sales team is extremely helpful and knowledgeable. They're never pushy and will absolutely steer you in the right direction. They take the time to learn your specific needs and will never try to sell you something more than you need. This store has everything you need if you are into camping, hiking, biking, climbing, etc.

  This location is phenomenal. I called around to other REI locations further north in NJ closer to where I live and none of them would help me reinstall the rear half of my Yakima roof rack that had come loose (installed by a different non-REI business in Idaho). I eventually called this REI Princeton location and Ian (?) was extremely helpful over the phone, and scheduled an appointment for me.
  
  Upon arrival, Gina helped me out. My car was especially difficult to re-install the rack to. She tried multiple times, double-checked Yakima's technical notes, double-checked the settings and literally tried everything she could to help. She was ultimately unsuccessful on this first visit, but she asked me to return the next day and promised that with help from other staff it would be resolved, and it was. Turns out, it was a two-person job due to the way it installs on my vehicle under very high tension, and this was verified when I saw how difficult it was even for two people who know what they're doing to get it installed properly. I literally never would have been able to do this myself, even with my wife's help.
  
  After all of the time and energy they invested, literally hours, what they charged me for the service is too embarrassing to even write here, but it was the cherry on top of an already incredible experience. Don't go anywhere else for anything, just come here and know you'll be taken care of no matter what. I will happily make the drive from Hoboken to come back here if I ever need anything else from REI.
