Rehabilitation Associates - Westport

I have been recovering from a medical episode and have been fortunate enough to take advantage of RA’s comprehensive offerings for the past six months. From the warm and bright Joanna Holtgrewe greeting you at the door and helping you make appointments to Sherry Formisano helping with insurance navigations, to the friendly check in staff, each visit was off to a great start. I worked with their OT, PT, and Speech staff. Their knowledge and approach and warmth, these all contributed to my strong recovery. In particular, Marjorie Alix coaching me in OT recovery with inventive games. Eron Friedman for his sense of fun and adventure in PT. Marta Martinez in Speech with creativity and going the extra mile to help me successfully get back to work. I would like to especially highlight Joanne Krasnow in PT for her patience, her dedication, and her ultimate faith that I could and would recover. And I HAVE! The whole team at RA have been incredible cheerleaders supporting my recovery and showing such support for myself and for my wife, beyond the call of duty. We are very grateful for their care and support every step of the way.

I have been very satisfied with the professionalism of Emily at Rehab Associates. She helped me after my spinal fusion surgery (for scoliosis) as well as my left knee replacement.

I have always had excellent results from my Physical Therapy sessions at Rehabilitation Associates. Eron Friedman is an expert at what he does: he assesses the patient/condition, and builds a program for office and home exercise and treatments to ensure reaching therapy goals. I bounced back from knee surgery way sooner than expected. Thank you Eron and RA!

Great PT! Emily is awesome!

Picking a good PT is very important. Injuries require you to do several visits a week for several months. After an injury, it is very important to have a good PT for your long term future.

Unfortunately I fractured my ankle. Fortunately I had a very good surgeon and fortunately I found Rehab Associates. I have strictly seen Emily since starting rehab in December. Initially came in on crutches via Uber. Now I walk in after parking in the “non handicap” spots! Emily has been crucial to my successful recovery. The entire staff here is fabulous. Indirectly I have seen the other PT’s work. They all enjoy their job, have great knowledge and take pride in watching their patient’s recovery.

Marjorie is an outstanding therapist and has been instrumental to my recovery after a shoulder arthroscopy. She is a great listener and adapts her therapy based on feedback provided and has great overall knowledge of the recovery process.

She makes you feel comfortable yet is increasingly demanding as you grow stronger.

I can’t recommend her enough.
