(March 2, 2023, 8:34 pm)Spent $95 bucks on 8 records which is a really good deal! The selection was so good that I had to refrain myself from buying another 3 records that I saw to stay within my budget!
I also like how they write on the plastic outer sleeve the details of the record and its condition. Lots of OG presses for good prices and I found some $3 records that were mint too which is pretty rare.
I will definitely be coming back when I’m in the area again :) -

The person behind the desk when I visited, possibly the owner, was very happy to direct customers to different genres and explain how things were organized or what they'd got in lately. They did also have a couple tables full of CDs, some 45s, several trays of cassettes, and even a few 8-track cartridges.

(February 10, 2023, 1:45 pm)Excellent record store! There is a very good selection of music and the records are in very good condition. The prices are also very reasonable. The owner is knowledgeable and helpful. If you are into vinyl you should definitely check it out!

(May 15, 2022, 8:01 pm)We were headed to Hartford for a concert the next day, so we stopped at several records stores along the way. Records - The Good Kind was by far the best one. Great selection, clean records, well organized store. And best of all, extremely fair prices. Talked a bit with the owner, a nice guy who knows what he's doing. Bought a pile of records, and we're enjoying them as I type this review. We'll definitely be back the next time we're in the area!
