  A local gem for families with children, Pratt has some nice walks, friendly farm animals, and excellent kids programs. Check hours before you go.

  This nature preserve & and day camp is one of the hidden gems of New Milford. Professional leadership and loving counselors. The woods are quiet, with meandering trails, lots of riverfront for kids to splash in. And some easy to love friendly farm animals. Best nature experience you could give you child. Highly recommended!

  Pratt Nature Center is an absolutely amazing! This is the 2nf summer our son has participated in their summer program. He loves going everyday! The counselors are well trained and very knowledgeable! He comes home and can't wait to share everything he has learned that day! FABULOUS place for families that want their kids to disconnect with electronics and reconnect with nature!
