(March 8, 2017, 3:24 pm)This is a cool school where they learn to plant oysters that clean the NY Harbor, and scuba dive and row and drive and build boats, too, and study marine biology. It's in a National Park on an island. You take a ferry to go to school.

(October 16, 2012, 9:58 pm)The opportunity that the New York Harbor School presents for students to go into specialized areas of marine, aquatic and environmental studies is phenomenal! As a result of my nephew attending NYHS, he will have several career options upon graduation as well as continuing his education through college.
