I love this library!! And I so, so appreciate every one of these professionals who work to make sure patrons like myself have access to books, CDs, videos and more. I've yet to go to their programs but hope to do so soon. They also have am indoor community fridge that is supported by patrons. In truth, this particular library in so many ways saved my intellectual, mental and social life during the worst of COVID. I'm so grateful for how they risked their lives to stay open and support all of us in this city.
The decor of Adriance Memorial Library has a harmonious blend of contrasting hues and forms. This spacious library is the perfect place to peruse books. Furthermore, the computer sections can accommodate a wide range of needs. If a problem rises, the technician will promptly resolve it.
Great library . Children's programs are free and available thru out the year . They have a children's room , teen room , and a variety of space to sit and read for adults .
MAKE SURE YOU GET A RECEIPT WHEN RETURNING A BOOK because they tend to "disappear" .
Beautiful library with character. Classical Revival architectural style, beautiful building. You can feel the history. I loved the art in the lobby. Great selection of books, plenty of resources and helpful happy staff. I enjoyed a nice morning of drinking coffee and getting the work done I needed on my laptop in a timely fashion. The archives are phenomenal and this place is history living. Will spend more time carving out the books and enjoying a nice work space.
Plenty of computers to work on, plenty of tables and desks to work on, separate magazine section is spacious and librarian welcomes requests and suggestions for magazines for library to subscribe to. Good size children's section and good size teen section, both areas have books, computers, and games. Staff friendly and professional. Parking spaces are a little limited.
