  I am a filmmaker from Portugal who moved to Pennsylvania in the spring of 2021 at the invitation of a film production company based out of New York city and Allentown. When I arrived I bought an old Cayenne with 90k miles and I was very deceived by the seller. The car came full of mechanical problems until I got stuck in the middle of the road in need of a tow. A friend at Triple A tow insurance recommended me to Phil's Automotive knowing that they are the Porsche knowledge in the LH valley area. I called and Tom answered the phone where he told me immediately that they were not open to new customers at the moment. I have explained my situation and Tom decided to help me and said to tow the car to Phil's. And that's what I did...
  I have since discovered that yes, they are without a doubt the best auto garage in the entire area and the people are friendly and honest. They explain the problems in detail and I can say that until now I have never found such a garage in the entire LH valley like these guys, they claim that usually clients only leave them when they move out of state or when they die, I can truly see why and I do say thank you so much for having me and above all for the camaraderie, much appreciated.

  We were out of state when car started a rattling sound, it was final hour in the weekend. Phil and his staff answered the call and agreed to help. They found the problem quickly, re-attached the lose part and sent us safely on the road. It was a wonderful act of kindness that will earn your trust and gratitude for years to come.

  These guys are the best... Phil, Pat and Tom know their stuff!
  
  We have used them for about ten years to work on our Porsche, Acura, Toyota and Honda. They can work on new and old stuff... They are experts in all things mechanical. They have handled everything from from tires, inspections and general repairs to swapping out the engine of our Acura.
  
  You can count on them to do the job properly and to do exactly what needs to be done without getting fleeced!

  They’ve been great to me. They are one of a very few independent shops that can handle the electronics on modern cars — they took care of some mysterious stuff on a German car I had, which had a notoriously complex electrical system. They nailed an emissions system problem on my Japanese minivan, so the check engine light never comes back on. (Another reviewer said they can’t handle electronic stuff. That hasn’t been my experience.)
  Whenever I go to pick the car up, they give me a huge, thorough explanation of what they did and why and what they observed.
  More than once, I’ve seen quarter-million-dollar collector cars there for restoration and rebuild. There are ALWAYS Porsches parked out front. This is where the big boys take their most precious toys. And yet, they treat me nicely when I show up with a 10-year-old econobox.
  They aren’t the cheapest, but they are painstaking. They take cash or check.
