(April 16, 2018, 6:03 am)Really great hiking area. Smaller but several miles to hike. Some wet areas with crossings. Some rocky outcrops. Overall very nice!

(April 1, 2018, 10:21 pm)A nice area for challenging or easy hikes. From cliff to wetlands and swamps. Can enter on Brickyard rd on the Spoonwood trail and follow the many trails to the Peters Memorial Trails coming out on Valley rd. Can take a half to over two hours enjoying a walk around. A total of 6 trails about 2.5 miles in all. The ledges I like the most for the views before the trees fill in the spring. But come the growth season, it will all be great for some solitude and nature hikes.

(May 11, 2016, 11:08 am)These trails and land are a treasure, particularly for an old man and his dog! Bailey has boundless energy and tears through the woods with great exuberance. She also loves splashing in the brook. (And, yes, I always pick up anything she may "deposit" on the trail and put her on lead whenever someone else appears, unless they say they are comfortable with her.)
