  I cannot recommend Pet Town Veterinary enough! When my dog Lola was in need of emergency surgery, I was distraught. After explaining the symptoms and diagnosis from our usual vet to Dr. Aqueel, he told me he could perform the surgery that day and reassured me that Lola would be okay. To be treated with such kindness during a stressful, scary experience is unfortunately rare and I am very thankful I found Pet Town Vet and Dr. Aqueel when I did.

  Always has time to see us for emergencies. So far my dog has had a giant lump removed and eaten a diaper causing bloody diarrhea. Love coming here, problem always is addressed efficiently and compassionately

  What a great practice right here in Newtown. They have been here just 1 year and in that time I had several people say how caring and good they are with their dogs. After poor experiences with another Newtown Veterinarian practice I decided to make an appointment for my dog Lou. They all, from the reception desk to the technicians are so welcoming to pets arriving. Greeting them, petting and getting the pet comfortable and calm. The Vet, Dr Aqeel is so patient, caring and gentle. Took whatever time we needed, spent time with my dog, making him feel comfortable and safe. I cannot say enough about how great this practice is and every person we interacted with the last 2 days. Please consider this practice. We need him and his team in town.

  Wonderful vet who takes the time to get to know you and your fur babies! The office staff was AMAZING.. I showed up rushing because I lost track of time and they immediately came out to help me hold the pups while I filled out the forms. They even offered to help walk the dogs back to the car if I needed. Dr Aqeel is so loved that another fur parent called to offer him Starbucks on her way in! You won’t regret going to him!

  My dog Bell Gambino-Madray was a patient with Dr. Aqeel while he was in Eastchester, NY. Because my dog is a bully breed some vets are not comfortable. NOT Dr. Aqeel. He was wonderful with Bella with all her UTI's and suggestions for preventative care. Unfortunately we live in the Bronx and Bella and I miss Dr. Aqeel and his patience for his patients. (thinking about switching)
