  Joined the Pennsylvania State Rifles and Continental Regulars at the Revolutionary War Encampment. Fife and Drums, drills and other displays, including the Sons and Daughters of the American Revolution.

  The re-enactment of the military set up wss amazing. There was a walking story of the time at Pennypacker Mills.

  I got a terrific tour today from a very informed docent. And for a suggested donation of $2? What a deal! The house is in great shape and it is really interesting to go through the history. I didn't time it, but the tour probably took about 45 minutes.

  My wife and I got a personalized tour here on a Saturday morning. It was great. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable about the estate. I recommend that everyone takes a tour of this mansion.

  A peaceful place to stop by and visit on a Sunday afternoon. Easy access off of route 73, and there are several walking trails to enjoy. According to the signs, George Washington had his headquarters here in 1777. A revolutionary war historic landmark. Very cool!
