  This is such a lovely little gem in Amenia, NY. From the cookies to the scones and sandwiches! You can easily find something to enjoy!

  What a great hole in the wall! You might miss the ground-level front door under the metal fire-escape steps if there weren't some regulars sipping cappucinos at the one sidewalk table to point the door out to you. Once you step in, it's cozy as a cave. And it smells like the kitchen of that aunt you have who cooks better than your mother. It's all your favorites your mother makes you, just somehow much better looking, smelling, and tasting. So, Peggy's offerings are at once ordinary and extraordinary, but in a homey rather than bougie way. Why is that strawberry rubharb muffin so deliciious? What's so good about this egg sandwich? God, I wish they hadn't run out of that frittata. Next time!

  Always a pleasure. Cozy, exquisite bites and coffee. Peggy, the new owner, prepped coffee for me a day she was not open due to covid labor shortage 🥰. Best in town/area.

  My notoriously hard to please seven-year-old exclaimed: "I LOVE this grilled cheese sandwich". High praise indeed. Also, wide variety of coffee options.
