(October 6, 2021, 1:02 pm)Fast Friendly Service with no BS. I recently took my grandson for his first "barbershop haircut ". The barber, Jason, does a great clipper cut, is super with kids, and always has an interesting story to share. I live over an hour away and stop when I'm in the Enfield area visiting family. I am already looking forward to my next visit.

(October 7, 2019, 11:18 am)Coming from a Barber/Salon, the first visit is culture shock. If you want a men's barbershop that you can bring your wife to and talk about gardening, cooking, ect..... Go somewhere else.
If you want a no nonsense haircut, in a place where men are men and you can feel free to speak your mind, this is the place to go.
Once I knew what to tell him for my cut, it's always been quick and comes out good. It kind of reminds me when I was a kid and my grandfather was a Barber, except without the bazooka bubble gum. -

(April 1, 2013, 6:30 pm)If you want your hair primped, bleached, or otherwise styled, don't go here. If you want a psychiatric session while you get your hair cut, don't go here. If you have to be personally invited to speak before asking for a haircut, don't go here.
But if you want an excellent MAN'S haircut (best fade I've ever received) at a very reasonable price from someone who knows what he's doing, don't go anywhere else...you'll get that from Jason at Pearl Street Barber Shoppe.
