(January 19, 2022, 4:24 pm)I absolutely loved Villa Maria School, it really helped me develop skills to combat both executive function difficulties, and my learning disability I was diagnosed with in elementary school. Before Villa Maria I was struggling both academically, and was struggling making friends. So my family decided on Villa Maria for Sixth, Seventh and Eight grades. During my time I made great strides and afterwards I was able to successfully transition into a Darien High School, and spent a year at The Spire School for senior year of high school. Eventually I was able to transition to the college application process, and I was accepted into prestigious schools such as Fairfield University, Landmark College and Sacred Heart University with scholarships. My father and still to this day thank this school for all they have done to help me academically and socially. No words can explain truly how this staff, teachers and environment helped me. I will forever be thankful for my time I got to spend here, and at Villa Maria who made such a big impact on my life. Thank you Villa Maria School! ( i currenetly go to landmakr college)

(March 16, 2017, 5:27 pm)My daughter started at Villa this past September as a 4th grader whose self esteem and self confidence had taken a big hit, and whose reading, writing and math was at a beginning of 2nd grade level. I am amazed at how far she has come on all fronts in a relatively short amount of time. She is happy! Self esteem and self confidence are back. She is into 3rd grade work.... the gap is closing! Villa is a small, nurturing school. They understand the struggles these kids have gone through and know how to get them back on track. I highly recommend this school to anyone with a struggling learner.
