  Losing a loved one is never easy. But Steve at Parsels Funeral Home made the process of arranging my father's funeral run as smoothly and painlessly as possible. He gently guided us through every step and treated us with kindness, compassion, care and respect. Parsels has been handling our family's funeral arrangements for decades. I highly recommend! Special thanks to Steve and Chris for taking care of me and my family at such a difficult time and for providing such a lovely service.

  Losing a loved one is very difficult. When our mother passed away last month, we contacted the funeral home that she wanted us to use, Parsels Funeral Home. After calling Parsels, they arrived in under an hour. Two gentlemen came and were very kind. They told us to take as much time as we needed to say goodbye to our Mom. Steve Matis, the funeral director, began to explain what the process would be going forward and, we made an appointment to see him so we could make arrangements the next day. He showed us genuine compassion, knowing that we were grieving. They took our mother from her home with kindness and professionalism.The following day we met with Steve. Again, he was very kind and helpful in assisting us in making the arrangements for the service. There was never any pressure; he only guided us to help with the decisions we needed to make.
  The day of the service was no different. Everything ran smoothly from the beginning to the end. We do not doubt that we made the right decision to use Parsels Funeral Home. We cannot emphasize enough how well Steve and his staff treated our mother and family!
  We would recommend Parsels Funeral Home to anyone who has lost someone they love. You can be sure that they will treat you with the utmost kindness and sincere compassion.

  Steve and Heather had excellent professional service. Both were very kind and empathetic. In this difficult time, they were very helpful. Steve explained how everything worked, and was patient and thorough. They truly made this painful process bearable. Steve and Heather organized the wake and procession to the funeral with ease and organization. There was an overwhelming attendance with a full military honor ceremony and Steve ensured that everything was handled appropriately and professionally. I highly recommend their services.
