I have been to a few campgrounds with friends in the past. I feel lucky to have found Worthington State Forest Campground. It's beautiful, affordable, well-cared for, and apparently rare.
My first time organizing a camping trip with me and my kids + godson and uncle, I found this place and was committed almost from the start. I've been reluctant to try any other because of how much better this was than the others I'd been to. Jenny Jump, not far from Worthington, will likely be the next one I try out. The Delaware River is just so beautiful to wake up to. I really do love going there.
Hot water / showers make a HUGE difference. ;)
there are flaws - but not enough to stop me from going back. -

(August 11, 2018, 8:26 am)Went camping here last week. It was such a great experience, this was my first time camping. The campgrounds were well kept and were very large. While here there was a really bad storm and the power lines came down so we had no water or lights in the outhouse for a few hours and the one road that is used to get it was out of service because of this as well due to no traffic light. But they quickly fixed all the problems and everything was back up and running. Really great area very serine and relaxing!
