  first off, open source is awesome and happening. openbuilds has high quality products, excellent customer service via email, and shipping is fast and safe with a generous amount of bubble wrap. just wish i knew what to do with it all! my only gripe, not big enough to take a star, is openbuilds doesn't have a walk-in to purchase parts directly. no fault of theirs, it's the zoning laws where they are located. not if but WHEN they expand, i hope they can offer this somehow. overall great experience and will be purchasing more!

  I ordered the my machine about 3 weeks ago and I got to say they were great at sticking to schedule. It all arrived in two very nicely packed boxes, you can tell they were very meticulous about packing everything, During assembly I was missing some drop in T-nuts, contacted Customer service and within hours I got a response that they where shipping those my way. Great costumer experience, I am a very happy client.

  Where do I start? When I was looking to buy a CNC router I looked at the usual X-carve and several of the Ebay models. I did more searching and came across Openbuilds site. After looking at all they offer I sent them an email with a few questions. I had a response within 10 minutes with every question I asked, When I sent an email after their hours I typically had a response within the first hour they were open. Customer service was top notch, very friendly and helpful. When I ran into an issues with the machine after I got it all put together I reached out to their forum since it was after working hours. I had a response from the group that was just as friendly as their customer support is. The next morning one of the Openbuild reps had read my question, responded and gave me instructions on what to do.
  On the machine delivery and packing, be prepared to fill a trash bag full of packing material. This thing was packed like they were shipping glass. Every bag was labeled so they you could read the bill of material for a description and easily follow along with their build video.All of the frame parts were shrink wrapped super thick, wrapped in bubble wrap and then surrounded in cardboard corners then packed into the box.
  
  If you are looking for a machine or just parts hit these guys up, you won't regret buying from them.

  Just AWESOME! Ordered the materials to build my gigantic 3d printer well over a year ago. I called up first and asked a couple of questions. Service was very helpful and informative. I wish they had a walk in store, or at least a option to pick up, as they are not that far from me. If i didnt have to pay shipping and could pick up no doubt I would have another 3d printer and a mill by now.

  I have made several purchases from OpenBuilds and have never had an issue. many of my orders have been received quicker than I anticipated. The products are always well packed and in great shape. They also offer one of the most flexible design products I have ever used. if you can imagine it, you can probably build it with their array of products.
