  They send me text and coupons when they are having sales. Stopped there the other day and they had everything they advertised on sale. They have good prices.

  They get a bad rep around the jobsite, but I go there for saw blades, router/drill bits, etc., picked up FOUR 36 inch clamps at 7.99 a piece this morning, easily 50 to 75 percent cheaper than the other two big box stores.

  Been going for years. Prices on many items are less than the big box tool stores. Gotten many different things here, good quality for the home handyman. Air compressor, pole saw, hand tools etc. Return policy is great as long as you keep receipts. Staff is helpful.

  Love this place. I'm only going to use the tool I bought once so I didn't need to spend alot of $. $70 for something that other stores wanted $200 for.

  At Harbor Freight you have to know what to look for. They offer great deals on a plethora of components and tools that are hard to best anywhere, even online. And some of these wares I would even rate as professional quality.
  That being said Harbor Frieght is a discount, high volume, big box store. The multitude of often Chinese made products they offer also contains a few items that are junk. Stuff that's not worth the trouble; being unreliable or poor quality. High speed tools, impact proven sockets, and the chinsier metal framed presses are suspect to me sometimes though I've witnessed high volume use of Pittsburgh wrenches and sockets without fail.
  I do really like the 3 tier product offering lineups Harbor Frieght sells like the Chicago Electric line, Titanium line, and Vulcan line of welders. I picked up a Vulcan Migmax 215 and can honestly say it's a great 200A mig machine.
  All in all Harbor Frieght is cheap, but if you use some discretion it can be a great source for the hobbyist and even for some professional projects. 4 Stars
