  My best friend, “Dan,” spent his final months here, cared for by compassionate staff. Although he would rather have died at home, that was not possible. I was glad that his friends and family ( from Brooklyn, from
  Washington State, New Mexico and Vermont), were able to visit him on a regular ba
  
  sis (this was before Covid, during the Spring and Summer of 2018). We were able to wheel Dan outside, to the park in front of the hospital, by the East River, where he enjoyed the sunshine and fresh air.

  I had a very good experience? Idk what’s the problem. The staff was beyond kind . They went above and beyond . They were great . Bc of Covid you can’t go up to the rooms , hopefully that changes soon , but they brought down my mother and she was very well taken care of . They brushed her hair , her nails were clipped and she was well dressed . My mother was relaxed and had nothing bad to say ! …. at the end of our interaction , she said she wants to go back to her room . I felt very comfortable with her there . I don’t understand the bad reviews . My only complaint is that the location is terrible . Take a tram , a red bus , the q102 , the f train . My lord 🙄
