  Dr. Fortin squeezed my dog in for a late-afternoon same-day appointment for a minor medical concern. My dog was able to receive the exam and treatment she needed in a timely manner and for a very reasonable fee. I am very pleased with the quick and thorough care we received!

  I've had one visit so far with Dr. Fortin, and I was so impressed. I didn't feel pressured to spend tons of money chasing a problem and felt very empowered to make decisions for my dog. She reviewed my dog's records from other vets and gave me a call after the appointment. She didn't make me feel rushed either on the phone or in person. She was good with my dog too. [Edited to add that Dr. DeRosa is so good too!]
  
  The front office is on top of things. [Edited to reiterate how much I love the front office staff. They answer calls even when they are busy. Sure, I have to hold a bit sometimes, but they do a good job managing the flow. My dog recently needed to get in quickly, and they got us into a cancelled appointment and were so patient while we coordinated things on our side.]
  
  Their prices aren't inflated like my previous vet either. I feel like they understand that vet bills stress a family's budget and act accordingly.

  Dr. Fortin has taken care of our babies for over a decade. When our Maverick died suddenly, my husband rushed him to Newington Veterinary Clinic, and within half an hour I got there from work. While we both were bawling our eyes out, and I was holding lifeless body of my Mavieboy, Dr Fortin consoled us for hours. The pain of loosing a companion is deep and profound. People who never had animals my not understand. But it’s critical to have veterinary care specialists who know how to help grieving or worried furry paw parents deal with the grief or uncertainty. Dr Fortin takes a very thorough approach to care of our Belle. She outlived her brother by three years and we hope to continue to enjoy her for another 10 years under Dr Fortin care.

  We have a pitbull that is fearful at the vet, and Dr. Fortin treated us with compassion, patience, & positivity. A very stressful situation was mitigated by feeling hopeful and put at ease by our physician. She took it slow, and was kind and had clear problem solving instructions to improve the experience for all of us, especially our dog.
