  My mother-in-law recently stayed here this past month May 2023, in unit “Village”, for rehabilitation services, on behalf of my mother in law, myself and the rest of family we would like to say thank you sincerely, for such an attentive, compassionate, and caring medical and rehabilitation team in unit “Village” everyone was just so helpful, from the 7-3, 3-11, 11-7 aides and nurses, around the clock great service, great care. I’d like to give a very special thank you to the Unit Manager Dina Philippe for going above and beyond to ensure my mother-in-law appointments and transportation was in order, lending us the entire family a listening ear to voice any of our concerns, and addressing any of our concerns in a timely manner, the very patient PT & OTs, the cleaniness provided by housekeeping, just a very well put team, and overall a great facility. I give this facility and their services 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

  I was a former resident at this facility (formerly known as)ProMedica/(currently) Mountainside Skilled Nursing and Rehab Facility in Mountainside located at 1180 Rt22 West
  Mountainside NJ 07092. I was there from March 11 to of May 3 of 2023 because I had surgery on my left foot. I had broken my left foot over 2yrs ago, I needed to have another surgery to repair my foot, again. I was not going to be able put weight on my left foot for 10wks so I was not going to be able to get up the stairs at my home of get around in my house, I needs to go to a rehab facility, this facility.
  
  This is one of the best medical facilities that I have ever been to and I received some of the best care ever. I am so thankful for the medical service and compassionate care that all of the employees gave me at Mountainside Skilled Nursing Home and Rehab Facility in Mountainside. It truly was a joy, the services here were great because of all of the employees. From the front door reception, the front office workers, nurses aids, nurses, physical therapy, occupational therapy, house keeping, activity coordinators, just everyone all throughout. Everyone at this facility is meant to care for people and you can tell they enjoy doing their jobs. I did not meet one person that did not enjoy their job or acted like this was just a job. Thank you Ms Evelyn and Genovana for helping with my insurance and everyone in the business office. Danny from Social Work for your advice.
  
  I appreciated all of my nurses but especially, one the best nurses I have ever met was Farrook ( I apologize for any misspelling). He is a very happy, pleasant, encouraging, attentive, great person. I looked forward to seeing and speaking with him everyday he worked and missed him on his day off. Another exceptional nurse Miss Magda. She was a great nurse as well, her care, compassion, conversation, and attention was always appreciated. Every nurse at the facility was great,but I just had a special place in my heart for these two because of their bright and cheerful spirits and their encouragement to keep getting better. The nurses aids were outstanding Marie, Aslay,Diana, everyone of the aids at this facility . The nursing supervisor who had foot surgery and still worked i. pain with a boot on, Adasay.
  
  I appreciated my rehabilitation team that included Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy specialists; Christine (PT), Miss Pat (PT), Christy (OT), Cathrine (Cathy- OT), and Avni (PT) that we’re all unbelievably exceptional at their jobs. Paying attention while interacting with me in case something was too difficult or an activity needed to be modified. I am thankful for the all the help they gave me to get back on my feet and back home. They were all exceptional, knowledgeable , experienced, and of their advice was very helpful and encouraging. Thanks the the head of that department, Jessica. She was extremely helpful with my transition home and defection of my care.
  
  Other exceptional people, housekeeping Ms Judy and Mr Steve, always helpful and going out of their way helping residence, taking time to listen to any questions or complaints or to just listen. I always looked forwards to seeing them. Watching them interact with residence and employees always made me happy because they were professional and caring.There is an amazing activities committee that brings a lot of happy vibes throughout the facility, with the residence and employees. Exercises, movies, games, karaoke, and parties that helps to keep residence active and happy and gets them out of their rooms. I had a great time, every time, thanks to Mia, David, and Ms Wanita. They make the days happy and fun. They are a very special group of people.
  
  If I could give a Best Facility award with the greatest staff it would be for Mountainside Skilled Nursing and Rehab Facility. Everyone working at this facility makes this a great facility for the patients and residence. Great compassion, care, attention, patience, cleanliness, all around. This is a 5-stars facility , from the front door all throughout

  My father-in-law was recently discharged from ProMedica after about a two-week stay. The staff were lovely, very pleasant and everyone said hello when you walked by them; very accommodating. The nursing and physical therapy were top-notch and extremely knowledgeable and accessible for all questions. Highly recommend this facility. The only drawback is not a reflection of the staff, but the facility is old and needs updating, it doesn't do it's team justice... (and the food could be better). All in all, a wonderful experience with lovely people throughout the entire stay.
