A sweet, quiet pond to take the family to. We took our kayaks and went from one side of the pond to the other. It was peaceful. It was tricky to find the entrance. We had to keep driving a quite bit after the GPS said we had arrive. It was worth it. Plenty of parking. You do have wall a little bit to get to the pond and there aren’t many places where you can sit at the edge of the water. They have one potty bathroom in the parking lot.
I love Millers Pond State Park and visit often so if you see me there say hi 😃lol.. The parking lot is small and it fills very quickly especially during the weekend & hot summer days.. If the parking lot is full and you drove from afar I suggest visiting Crystal lake or Wadsworth Falls close by Middletown😉
Nice place, easy hiking trails. I'd definitely go back.
Rocky ramble around the pond and lots of trails...also lots of folks and unleashed dogs, not the most peaceful outing, but great views, rock ridges and gurgling streams.
A local hiking spot, with lovely trails of varying difficulty and a pond in the middle. When it's not crowded, it is fantastic. But it is often crowded in the weekends. Free parking with CT license plate.
