  I learned of MH Elederly Care from a friend at work who used the service to take care of his mother. He had learned of them from his wife who works as a hospital nurse. We learned of their service entirely by word of mouth.
  
  My parents are both 92, depression era children, and extremely independent. They have absolutely refused any assistance and have lived on their own in a small town in Western Massachusetts. My mother has Alzheimer's and my father is nearly blind. Then, this past December, my father broke is hip and was hospitalized. My sister and I immediately made arrangements to care for our mother while our father was in the hospital and rehab facility. He was desperate to return home as soon as possible, but we realized we would be unable to provide the care that he would need at home. My sister was investigating Home Healthcare aides and was getting quotes on people to come in for shifts. I told her about my friend's experience and I called MH Elderly Care. Marnus was able to provide a live-in caretaker within a few days. And this was at a lower cost than competitor's shift workers, and at a significantly lower cost than moving our parents to nursing home facility.
  
  I was really shocked at how well our caretaker fit in. She was very competent. She cooks, cleans, and provides all the necessary health care for both our parents. While I am sure that my parents would prefer to live alone and not have someone living in their house, my father realizes that the help she provides is essential and that her services allow them to continue to live in their own home.
  
  My sister and I didn't think our parents would ever allow outside assistance but we realized we were incapable of providing the assistance that our parents now require. My sister and I are thrilled with how well this has worked out. Obviously, each home health care worker is unique and some personalities and abilities may fit better in some situations than others. But our health care worker does everything we need to keep our parents happy, safe and healthy.

  Marnus and Hilda are AMAZING care takers. My family found them through a recommendation of another family member, and I must say, they are amazing. They are extremely patient ( they took care of my grandma who suffers from Alzheimer’s) and even on my grandmothers hardest days, they never once got frustrated or lost their patience with her, even when family did! Before we were blessed with the help of Hilda and Marnus, my grandmother would just stay at home and became very depressed. Hilda and Marnus always made it a point to take her out and do things. Whether it was taking her to activities st the senior center, or even just out to lunch, my grandmother always looked forward to doing fun things with them. If Marnus or Hilda themselves weren’t in my home taking care of my grandmother, one of their other amazing employees were. They treated my family like their own, and like they were truly honored to be helping us when in reality, we were the blessed ones to have them! There is no one else in this world that I would trust more with the care of my loved ones than this company!

  I don’t know where to begin but the care provided to my mother and father was nothing short of amazing. Marnus and his team of caregivers were Angels sent from heaven to help not only my parents but the entire family. It was very overwhelming to us but they were professional, compassionate and understanding. I truly believe we could not have done better regardless of price. Janet was an amazing person who treated our mom with dignity, compassion and caring. She became a member of our family and I cannot say enough good things about her, she was/is selfless!
