  Lovely vintage train station; beautifully maintained, closed for the season .. I look forward to returning when it's open!

  What a fun find, restoration in progress of 1840s inn and restaurant. They had a Christmas shop this past weekend and do other events throughout the year to raise money to finish the restoration. Got a nice tour of the building with Peter Yeager an artist and volunteer and got to see the ballroom upstairs that they are working on restoring. We were not planning on going here but saw signs and very glad we stopped.

  A memorable time! For Merwinsville fall arts and crafts event, my husband had several handcrafted wood gifts on display and for sale. We attended the opening and made a couple more visits to shop and experience the museum. The atmosphere was pleasant and the staff friendly. Looking forward to the next event!

  Please go back in time; view this amazing place, take in the history & all the delicious homemade snacks ( cheese cakes, tarts all the way upto a stunning chili's ) authentically made with love by a grandma; that's worth it alone...
  They do an amazing Christmas display; i make the trip from Maine just to see this creative intelligence team work wonders all over that place

  There was a train set up and christmas decor. At the time of visit it was a craft/art show. They were giving free hot chocolate. Upstairs had a museum set up with local antiques and maps etc. It did have a bathroom on the second floor. The stairs were authenic and very steep. The third floor was in renovation mode.
