  Very quaint setting and delightful food! The colonial New England vibe is unparalleled, coupled with the English garden. The appetizers stole the show though. Highly recommend the trout tartare and cold pea soup! Both were complex in flavor and exciting to taste! The entrees, however, were not as exciting. The Denver steak and pork chop were tasty but probably not worth the high price, especially with no sides. The bang for your buck is the dessert cheese plate, which was way too much dairy at the end of the night. It seems as though the short rib burger is the big ticket item for entrees! All in all it was an enjoyable experience.

  Great place to get away, nice bar and restaurant. Enjoyable 1 mile hiking trail, the food was spectacular, especially the Roasted Hen of the Woods with Chickpeas and lentils (pic)

  Amazing lunch at the bar; food was delicious and good portions and wonderful to be in such a gorgeous setting with fabulous service!
  BTW they allow dogs if you are a guest in some rooms!

  One of the most beautiful hotel rooms I have ever stayed in (was in the main house). The people working there were absolutely wonderful. Special shout-out to Keith for being so sweet. Spa was very nice. For the meals, my only recommendation would be changing up the breakfast…sometimes less is more with breakfast items. Dinner was phenomenal + the drinks.
