What a sweet place to walk, off the beaten path. Don't let the barking dogs near the trailhead put you off, as their sound fades quickly once you head into the woods. In early April, we were surprised to find so much snow on the ground, so bring sturdy, waterproof boots at that time of year. This area is covered with Mountain Laurel, so you're in for a treat when these are in bloom.
