    My family and i love this place.. There is picnic spots right next to the river or some more private ones just up the hill..You could also have a good sized gathering in the pavilion as well..

    Very nice place, peaceful and quiet, nice area to walk the dogs, also the pictures are of a momma bear and 3 cubs, only couldn't get a great picture of the cubs

    It was a nice place to walk and check out the scenery. I wish there was water down below. But everything was dry .but it was nice to go see. Kids liked it . We started down at the bottom and the kids jumped in the water ..

    Picturesque Berkshire dam valley area. Year round lovely vistas. The structure is for flood control only so there is no lake behind the spillway. There is a beautiful meadow in the flood control zone loaded with all types of plants in various colors. Below the water exit area is a rapids filled river, perfect for taking a quick dip, fishing or in the spring white water kayaking. A large covered pavilion is available as well as a number of barbecue pits; just bring your own charcoal. Upper and lower level parking. Miles of trails. People even bring their horse trailers with their equine friends for a quiet mountain ride. Our dogs love to a walk up here. Do not miss this place if you would like a bit of the outdoors but not to remote a location.
