  Awesome small museum about the life of an American Hero and the history of the seals. Talking to the extremely pleasant staff it’s only going to get better as well. If you’re in the area it’s definitely worth the stop. I will plan to come back when the 5D experience is more military themed.

  Had an amazing experience today. It is truly an excellent representation of the SEAL history and culture.
  The hands on and attentive nature of the staff is remarkable. The fact that you can have a conversation with a Navy SEAL and you can get to speak to the father of Michael Murphy.......Humbling Proud...definitely worth stopping in a spending the afternoon...Thank You

  Amazing location. A ton of info and resources are made available for viewing. So much effort went in to this museum to commemorate the lives of these brave warriors. Each story is more amazing and awe inspiring than the last. Beautifully maintained grounds and memorials. It was nice to see a gift shop that wasn't full of fluff....rather amazing books full of information that honors the traditions and lives of Navy Seals. I had visited this museum with my wife, but will definitely be bringing my son with me for a return visit. It's a must-see location here on Long Island.

  We are a Naval Aviation family, and we have many friends who are or want to be Navy SEALs via the Naval Academy. I have recommended many already to see the museum to better understand the SEAL community. The museum obviously honors the legacy of LT Michael Murphy, and the Murphy family brought a lot of Long Island support. That said, it is way more than a shrine to "Murph". It just a wonderful reflection of the SEAL community, their history, and their place in America's defense.
