Their museum is very interesting with a variety of artifacts, displays, books, and more! The people who run the historical society are lovely and dedicated to celebrating and preserving town history. The museum is conveniently located about one mile from the Long Island Expressway. Great place to learn about and check out!

The best memories of my childhood were of Ronkonkoma and going to Make Ronkonkoma. If you really know Lake Ronkonkoma, you know about the "curse" on the Lake! Lol. Some the most beautiful parts of Long Island and Suffolk county are right here. Just a great place to visit.
