  Having never sailed before, I was nervous to start the Adult Basic sailing course. However, Matt and Chris (instructors) were extremely inviting and communicative. Their chalk-talks are EXTREMELY informative and they sprinkle in some good humor! It’s clear that they’re both dedicated, skilled, and truly want to teach you how to sail. After the first day of sailing, I booked the intermediate and one-day catamaran courses. I highly recommend Longshore Sailing School! For me, it’s worth every penny and I’m so excited to continue learning to sail at Longshore!!

  Rented kayaks a couple times (always in great shape) and also took a 2 hour private class for sailing - catamaran. Our instructor Julia was great, very professional and fun! Thanks Julia! We will be back again for more rentals!

  I went to the sailing school as a kid and loved it. I found out about their boat rentals, which are very reasonably priced, and was so excited. They make sure everything is ready for you, have life jackets if you don’t have your own, and are always friendly and helpful! And of course, being on the water is the best.

  Always a pleasure renting from Longshore Sailing School. It's such an easy rental process and everyone is always really chill and friendly. The employees who bring the boats are very knowledgeable. They are always sure to ask me if I've sailed this type of boat before, and if I know the rules and boundaries or want a recap on them, which I appreciate. I sail, and their boats are quality, the Neos and the Catamarans are in great shape and are a blast to go out on. The Catamarans are awesome for taking out friends. And the prices are great too! It's a beautiful cove, we always spot fun birds, we saw an oyster catcher on her nest yesterday, so cute. Can't beat this place.

  My son has been attending the sailing school for the past several years. He has thrived due to the consistently excellent instruction. Every single instructor has been outstanding. There are no exceptions. They are patient, kind, and super fun. They also put safety first while simultaneously making every session exciting. My son has grown into a confident, safe, and skilled sailor. The entire staff works to create a positive and happy environment for every level of experience. I am impressed each and every year and after each program.
  We also had family come to visit recently and rented 3 catamarans. We needed 2 instructors and my son sailed the last boat on his own. We had a party of 10, many of whom were from Utah and who never get to experience the ocean. Consistent with my son's excellent experiences, every member of my family was impressed with the skill, the professionalism, and the kindness of the instructors, Reese and Ben. It was a most memorable and delightful afternoon that they won't forget. They are already hoping to go out again the next time they visit. I honestly cannot say enough good things, and I highly recommend ALL the programs at Longshore Sailing School. Anyone who has the opportunity to go there in any capacity is a very lucky person. :)
