(March 22, 2022, 3:31 pm)It was the best decision to enroll my child in Norwalk School of Music! Within weeks, my child's progression as a piano player is amazing. Gerald, the owner, has high expectations for his students and teaches his classes accordingly. It is refreshing to see a teacher view a young pupil as intelligent and capable. He is patient, yet each week sets a new goal. As a result, my child is eager to impress him each week, showing her refined piano skills. Gerald makes it clear that if the student is not willing to practice daily, then he'd rather not waste a parent's time or money. I appreciate that honesty. I look forward to the future of concerts and performances! My child is on her way, thanks to Norwalk School of Music!

(December 16, 2019, 8:37 pm)Here is what my 13 year old (who has been a student of Gerald for three years) has to say: “He is the best teacher, whether you are a beginner or have prior drum experience, a student could ask for. He is calm and patient. He stresses the importance of practice and good technique. He teaches how to read sheet music in an easy to understand way. He allows students to be creative and pushes them musically. He has made me a better drummer. I look forward to working with him every week.”

My son started taking drum lessons from him when he was 5, and Gerald has motivated and inspired him even when the lessons became challenging. Gerald has an incredible work ethic and an infinite amount of patience!

(November 29, 2016, 6:38 am)If you want your child to love and appreciate music, then Gerald Myles is the teacher for you. My son loves his lessons with Gerald and has a new found confidence from his new talent. He has taken lessons from 2 different teachers in the past and they just didn't foster the same level of creativity that Gerald does. He is the best!!!
