  This is a great venue for kids (and adults) to learn. Plenty of parking and the staff are courteous. The rotary phone (and one of many displays) brought back nostalgia. The kids had a blast, they did not want to leave. My 7 y/o enjoyed the mini wood work and climbing exhibit, and my twin monsters enjoyed playing with the instruments and making bubbles.

  Fantastic place for kids! We have a family membership and it's definitely paid for itself after 3 visits. Great place to keep them busy and let them explore for a few hours. The kids favorites are the building blocks, toddler area (5 and under), music room and bubbles. In the summer the outside water area is a lot of fun too. You can bring your lunch or a snack and eat it in the cafeteria, which also has vending machines which is a plus. Also has a good size parking and overflow lot too.

  Great place to bring toddlers and little kids. There is always a new rotating exhibition.
  There is also a toddler room, which is really well equiped and mimicking a town. It has a light house, train, library, construction site, market, ice cream shop and a bridge. My son loved it!
  The rest of the museum is very interactive with a lot of lessons to learn from nature to physics.
  There is an awesome bubble section on the ground floor.. super fun!
  Some libraries offer passes for this museum and it is also part of the Museums4All program.
  Highly recommended.

  A great educational and fun experience for the kids! 2 floors of a variety of activities. Ideal for toddlers and older. They have a woodshop area that helps the kids with their hammering skills. An art area for them to glue/color to their creative hearts extent. They also have a great bubble area, along with many educational and interactive exhibits. Can easily spend a few hours here, and it's only $15!!

  There were so much to do and explore in Long Island Children Museum. It was great for younger kids. My 4 years old and 6 years old had a great time there. The dinosaur exhibit was awesome. They also included the Dino roaring to make it real. Both my kids loved the climbing experience and they spent a good amount of time climbing up and down. They also loved the building area which they could build structures and other stuff with big building blocks. The museum was kept cleaned and organized. The parking lot is relatively small, but free parking.
