(March 5, 2023, 6:09 pm)Stopped in here on a Sunday morning after catching the first 197 bus from NYC. We were heading out to do a hiking trail in the immediate vicinity and this was the perfect prep stop - there is a bus stop over the road. And from there, you are a 15min walk from the Wanaque Ridge trailhead at Back Beach Park.
We got a great filter coffee and some amazing fresh hot kolaches. The friendly staff even explained all about the hikes in the area while we ate breakfast. The owner is passionate about his baking and it comes through in his food. Definitely will be back to this area for more trails, and Lone Star is our go-to starting point. -

(February 1, 2023, 7:27 pm)Picked up your chili today very good. Plus the fact there's no beans in it. Cheap way other places decide to substitute beans with meat. And love your soft Airey roll homemade. Keep it up.

The breakfast kolaches, although they didn't look like the kolaches I have had in Texas were delicious. The staff were super friendly and I plan on this being our go to bagel/breakfast to go place

(July 4, 2022, 8:42 pm)Kolaches are so good! Never tried one in my life till I went here. On my second trip they even included a free one! Super soft pastries with great filling. The house roll is amazing as well! What a wonderful new business for the area :)
