(June 14, 2023, 4:37 pm)My experience at Lakeland nursing home was a very good experience. I was well taken care of, and I highly recommend Lakeland.
The administrator greeted me the first day I got there. He told me if there was ever anything that I needed just to call him. After that he came by several times just to say hello and ask can I get you anything? Do you need anything?
I also saw the social worker on my first day. She came in to introduce herself and make sure I was comfortable in the room and everything I needed was there. She came by every day to make sure everything was OK and to check on me. She also told me that if I needed anything, she was just a phone call away.
The nursing staff on all of the shifts were wonderful. They helped me with any of my needs as they were several things when I got here that I couldn’t do by myself. Any medication I needed, arrived on time with a friendly face. The CNA’s were also helpful.
My physical therapist was very kind and gentle. He worked with me every day to make sure that I could get out of the wheelchair and walk with a walker before I went home. He also made sure that I was capable of walking the stairs that I needed to walk inside my house. He worked with me on several things that I never would’ve thought was part of physical therapy and I’m grateful he did that.
I also had an occupational therapist and she was wonderful. She worked with me until I was able to do things that I had to do for myself all by myself, or with a little bit of help. I am grateful for all the things that she taught me. As without her, I’d have to go home and rely on my family to do things for me that I wouldn’t be able to do for myself.
Believe it or not, there is even an Activity Director here. She came by and left me a calendar with all the different activities that were available for me to do each day here at Lakeland. Her staff stop by several times a day, either with cookies or coffee, or to invite me to whatever activity was happening.
The rooms are very clean and the housekeeping staff come in twice a day to assure cleanliness.
As I said, before, I had a wonderful experience, the five weeks I was here and I would recommend Lakeland to anybody who needs to come for rehab. -

(March 17, 2023, 11:08 am)I was a Lakeland health care center for rehab after a knee replacement. I cannot say enough good things about the care here. I felt at home and the accommodated to all of my needs. The staff became family and I am sad to leave. The facility is clean and the care was good. I would highly recommend this facility for friends and family’s.

(February 24, 2023, 3:42 pm)I have been at Lakeland health care center for over 3 weeks. Lakeland is nice and clean and cozy. The nurse Vee is wonderful and will always make time for you no matter how busy you might be. The social worker, Gillian, is really nice and whatever questions I had she answered and went out of her way to find me answers. I came in here unable to walk and sit up and now I am able to walk out of the facility with a walker. The other residents are very nice and make you feel at home by inviting you to play bingo and do other activities. I would recommend this facility highly.
