(April 18, 2022, 12:08 pm)This place was absolutely amazing me and a couple of friends rented it out on Airbnb for the weekend and we couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. They go well above and beyond as far as offering amenities that are normally available at a rental property. We are already trying to plan our next trip up.

The house was wonderfully decorated for the Christmas season and was impeccably clean. I have to admit we were a little spoiled, we had the place to ourselves. It was so nice to get to sit and spend time with them and breakfast was DELICIOUS! (Dutch apple pancakes with sausage and grilled pineapple) We can't wait to go back!
I can't recommend them enough. You won't be disappointed! -

(January 30, 2018, 5:11 pm)This is one of the nicest Bed & Breakfasts we have ever stayed at. Janet and Warren are excellent hosts. The breakfast alone is worth the stay. Real attention to all your needs and very helpful navigating the area. We felt like part of the family after 2 nights there. Perfect for meeting our daughter,son in law and grandson for skiing at Elk Mountain.

(October 28, 2016, 1:33 pm)This was our 3rd stay at the James Manning House. My husband and I come to celebrate our anniversary each year(next year is on the books!) . Whenever we travel we stay at Bed and Breakfasts and this is by far the best we have been to. Janet and Warren are the nicest people- warm accommodating and gracious hosts!
They handle special requests with ease and have struck the perfect balance between chatting with guests and respecting guests privacy. They clearly enjoy owning and running their Bed and breakfast and their passion shows!
No detail is overlooked here and special touches are everywhere. The house and grounds are always beautifully decorated in every nook and cranny for the season, it is meticulously clean –but also very cozy and homey throughout the entire house, to us it feels like coming home.
As far as the food- the breakfast menu is creative and the dishes served are filling and delicious with many ingredients from their own garden. If you go away hungry its your own fault!! Fresh baked treats ,beverages and other snacks are available anytime which is a very nice touch. Also be sure to check out Janet’s homemade jams. We always take several jars with us and enjoy seeing what new flavors she has come up with each year.
We treasure our time at this BnB each year and would highly recommend it to anyone.
