  We love it here! We’ve been twice in four years and plan to go back over and over again. It’s become our place. Gorgeous rooms, beautiful views, secluded pool with a view of mountains and never crowded. Many times I had it to myself.
  
  Bicycles to ride around or ride to the lake….kayak, row boats, hammocks, hammock swings, more books than you can imagine to choose from. Chess, billiards… nuns, used to live on these grounds, the main house will take you back in time it’s meticulously kept up. The old barn has been made into brooms with vaulted ceilings, decks, Jacuzzi tubs for two with a view.
  
  Homemade breakfast every morning— sit in the dining room or outside or have it delivered to your room. It’s encouraged to mingle with guests. It’s not formal. If you just like to be around good people looking for seclusion and peace— you will love it here.
  
  Matt is an excellent host, no clue how he takes care of all of this and manages to talk to every guest, never makes you feel like you’re keeping him from something when we clearly are lol
  
  The grounds are impressive. Eric and his team do an excellent job. Thank you thank you thank you.

  From beginning to end, our experience at the inn was amazing. We were welcomed and given a tour upon arrival. Our room had a rustic vibe with a fully upgraded bathroom, a sun deck, and a separate balcony which was very nice. The grounds are beautiful and the pool area was super relaxing. We took a rowboat on the lake, which was not crowded at all and so peaceful. They have amazing breakfasts and the bagged lunches are perfect for being on the go during the day. The fire pit with marshmallows was a nice touch at the end of the night. Matt was so accommodating and had the fire pit lit upon request. Of course the best part was that they are dog friendly! Our pup had the time of his life! There is an amazing Italian restaurant nearby that also let us bring our puppy to dinner. Overall, it was every bit as peaceful and rejuvenating as I imagined. I want to thank everyone there for an amazing experience and I look forward to coming back!

  This is definitely a nice relaxing place especially for a couples weekend. The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. The building and grounds have a rich history. The rooms are antique looking but are nice. The biggest issue I had was the bed was extremely uncomfortable and the majority of local restaurants do not deliver to this location.

  Our stay at the Inn at Lake Joseph was exceptional from start to finish. Upon arrival we were greeted by Matt the inn keeper who was welcoming and helped us get ourselves sorted out while offering advice on local eateries and things to do. The property itself is very peaceful with plenty of activities from hiking trails, bike riding, fire pit, and much more. We stayed in the Hemlock room which we immediately fell in love with. I look forward to my next stay at the Inn. On a side note, after checking out I received a call from Matt stating someone had found my sunglasses. Without hesitation Matt offered to mail me the glasses. Truly 5 star service all around, highly recommend. Also the breakfast is magnificent.

  The Inn at Lake Joseph was the perfect spot for us to relax on our mini-moon. First, the service is excellent. Matt is so warm, friendly, and wants to make sure everything is going great. Next, the space is rustic, romantic, and charming. I love that it's tucked away, so peaceful and quiet. Our room (Cedar) was superb. We loved the warm fire place, spacious jacuzzi, our own deck, etc, etc. We loved starting each day on the lake (row boats and kayaks), where one morning we saw a bald eagle! They serve breakfast and picnic lunches. The breakfast can be served in their main lounge or at your room. We appreciated being able to eat in our room by the fire in the mornings. Lastly, we love the area that it's in. There are so many fun destinations to visit in the surrounding area. Overall, we highly recommend the Inn at Lake Joseph for anyone who wants a relaxing getaway. We will certainly be back for anniversaries!
