Parking- sam point parking … need online reservations for parking.
Great view trails are easily marked the caves were amazing would definitely go back and recommend it to anyone who loves the outdoors. There is a $10 charge to park your car in the parking lot but it's easy to pay and get a pass and definitely worth it
This is an awesome hike! Tough, but awesome. Some of the ascents and declines are VERY steep. Passages get extremely narrow. Even in 90 degree heat, there were spots of ice, so if you're going in colder weather, be prepared. Definitely wear proper footwear. It was a challenge for me, as I'm afraid of heights, but the sense of accomplishment and view are well worth it!
Fantastic! A 1/2 mile one way loop through some extraordinary cave scenery. Glad it finally reopened. Get there to the lot before 9:30 on weekends. Find a bathroom an exit or two before you
arrive. We waited an hour to use the bathroom near the visitor center.
Nice trail. Definitely a little different from most of the trails in this area. My small dogs were able to conquer the trail and they had a blast. Didn’t see any ice in the caves but it was definitely a cool geological formation. The view from the top of the mountain is spectacular
