  I do not know where to begin. My partner signed me up for this class with her under the pre-cursor of - "this will give you the information you will need to support me through labor, and in the beginning stages after baby comes"
  
  while this was a great way to get a quick yes out of me, this was just barely scratching the surface of how valuable this class ended up being for us / and me specifically.
  
  To another male partner looking at these google reviews. This is the absolute BEST way to prepare yourself for what is to come. This class helped me essentially prepare my brain for what being a father is all about. Your job is simply to support the wishes of your partner. You have almost no other job. This job is WAY more important now than it has ever been.
  
  Living in the united states, we are tricked into thinking that we have "the best care" and that you should blindly trust everyone around you. This is NOT the case.
  
  If you were taking a final in AP history tomorrow, would you show up unprepared?
  
  Would you study?
  
  Now imagine this is not an AP exam, but its preparing for the single most important moment of your life that hasn't even happened yet.
  
  This class provides all the course materials that your high school health class omitted.
  
  This class will prepare your partner with all the information that their OBGYN likely (conveniently) omitted.
  
  Whether you are planning a hospital birth, a mid wife assisted home birth, or some other plan; this class will prepare you for every test, every question, and set you up for success.
  
  Welcoming a human into the world should be done with Laughter, Tears, and applause. Birth is an incredible experience that has ramifications of life and death. Understanding the process throughly is the least one can do. Achieving what we were able to achieve is PRICELESS.
  
  Cynthia Overgard; on a side note, also went over and above for us. We were planning a home birth, and after we completed the class 60 days from our due date, we lost our home to a tree. It was tragic and very upsetting. We were lost with no idea where to turn, and how to move forward. Cynthia took time our of her busy schedule to meet with us. This meeting helped us immensely; and was the first steps to getting us back on track. I cannot say enough about her as a person, what this class did for me personally and for us as a couple.

  Words can't express how thankful I am that I took Cynthia's hynobirthing class when we were expecting our first child. When I found out I was pregnant, I was a bit nervous about the delivery and really wanted a positive experience but was only coming across negativity when speaking to anyone about childbirth. The hypnobirthing approach and Cynthia in particular helped me to realize that a positive experience was possible! Cynthia goes above and beyond and is very passionate about childbirth education. In addition, she offers numerous other classes to help you prepare for the intense journey of becoming a parent. All of the courses that I have attended were so helpful and I'm not sure where I would be if it wasn't for Cynthia. Hypnobirthing really allowed me to see what a truly empowering experience childbirth is and I thank Cynthia for sharing all of her knowledge. This class is definitely worthwhile and I would recommend it to anyone!

  It's impossible to put into words the impact that Cynthia's class had on the birth of our daughter, and the beginning of our lives as parents. Cynthia is incredibly informed and passionate about childbirth education. The information and techniques we learned in her class are truly priceless, and allowed us to navigate the world of pregnancy and childbirth in an informed manner that, sadly, we now realize is so rare for expectant couples. I would 100% recommend Cynthia's class to absolutely any pregnant couple- she is a wonderful person and an excellent teacher!

  I feel so blessed to have found Cynthia at HypnoBirthing of CT over four years ago when I was I pregnant with my first baby. Cynthia's class truly changed my life and helped me to look at birth and myself in a whole new light. Cynthia is caring, passionate, and extremely knowledgeable. I left her HypnoBirthing class feeling confident and prepared to birth my baby the way I wanted to. As a result, I was able to birth both of my children naturally using the Hypnobirthing techniques Cynthia taught me. The births of my children were so very special and empowering for me to realize what my body is able to do.
  I am overjoyed that I have been able to continue to take additional classes with Cynthia at her beautiful Prenatal center. Creating Healthy Sleep Habits, Parenting workshop, Wellness workshop, Birthing refreshers, and Meet the Midwife have all been extremely beneficial to me and my family. Now that I'm pregnant with my third child, I'm looking forward to using Hypnobirthing again and to another amazing birth experience. Cynthia has made such a huge impact on my life and I will always be very grateful to her for that.

  HypnoBirthing of CT with Cynthia changed mine and my husbands’ life! We were expecting our first baby and not only were we striving for the most peaceful and healthy birth we could have, I also had a need to conquer my fear of birth. Cynthia's class taught us not only the power of meditation, but armed with tons of information, the power of our own voice to achieve the kind of birth we wanted. Whether you are striving for a natural birth or just looking for a child birth preparation class, you can't find a better experience than at HypnoBirthing of CT! Because of Cynthia's class, my husband and I not only achieved our goal of a beautifully peaceful, calm and natural birth, she helped us find our way to the kind of parents we want to be.
