  The house is absolutely beautiful! I had planned a work retreat with my team during the pandemic. The property has an unbelievable amount of space. My team had the option to work and attend meetings inside near a cozy fireplace or sit outside on the expansive wrap-around porch. I could not have asked for a better location to host a work retreat!

  Everything was perfect upon arrival; the house was exquisite - just as described, plus the peaceful location of the property, and all amenities we needed were at our fingertips. The Hudson River runs behind the property. There is a fire pit and comfortable seating outside for when the weather is nice. The restored Tudor interiors were full of contemporary art, original architectural details and comfortable high end furnishings. The bedroom was quiet and spacious enough to “work from home” in. My ample, ensuite bathroom had heated floors. The kitchen was well stocked with all the equipment and many ingredients needed to cook. The open plan kitchen/dining room had a long island that seats 4, a dining table that seats 12, and opened up to a large porch overlooking, the Hudson River, the Vanderbilt Mansion and surrounding mountains. This is a beautifully appointed home with every detail tended to for a luxurious and comfortable stay. During our get-away weekend we recharged, spent time in nature and had a relaxing escape. I highly recommend HSE! This is a beautiful home on a breathtaking piece of land. It was such a pleasure to stay here, to enjoy the views from almost every room, cooking in that giant welcoming kitchen, watching movies by the warmth of the fireplace. The breakfast and food items for our enjoyment (along with sealed toiletries in case we forgot anything) were extra touches that were much appreciated. The house is close enough to stores to grab anything you need, and the John Burrows Nature Sanctuary is just down the road. It was an easy 2 hour drive from NYC and then 15 mins to the hip town of Kingston NY where we enjoyed the restaurants and shops.
