Beautiful home. Nicely appointed, very comfortable furniture and beds. Hot tub is wonderful! Nice fire pit in pretty back yard! Deer came every AM! We will definitely go back when we visit this area again!

House is super cute and cozy, super quiet neighborhood really, and the kitchen was stocked well with appliances and utensils. The sun room is really pleasant when the weather is sunny but it’s still a bit too chilly outside. The outdoor fire pit was AWESOME! Stewart’s is right around the corner where you can grab a bundle of wood with kindling and the chairs around are super comfy. I loved all of the bird watching supplies at the house 😍 including all of the books scattered around as part of the decoration. Two biggest things to be aware of is both bathrooms are on the 2nd floor and the backyard (as posted) isn’t completely fenced in and the fence in place is for privacy and not for keeping things in/out, many cat friends passed through the yard during our stay, something to be aware of if you have a dog that would chase a cat! It was really such a lovely stay and we would absolutely stay again.

The farmhouse was beautiful and extremely charming. The house was so comfortable, extremely clean and very organized. It had everything and more to make you feel at home and welcome. Our hosts were very responsive! We will be back! The beauty and solitude were priceless!

The Black Walnut Tree Farm is a snapshot in time of a simpler era. The house maintains it original charm. The rooms are quite large, especially the kitchen! The house is clean, comfortable and the bathrooms have been updated with showers you want to take home. For outdoor enthusiasts, the property is as nice as the house. You can stroll through the woods and walk around the pond. What a perfect find!

I was invited to this place as I did not book it so I can only share my experience. The property we stayed at was a beautiful, (La Grange Farmhouse), and spacious place. An old farmhouse with a modern renovation. Big enough for our group, but cozy enough for 2 people. It has several rooms, a hot tub, a gym in the basement, 3 bathrooms, it was awesome and the decor was straight of crate and barrel or CB2 aesthetics.

A nice weekend getaway to escape the city. I would recommend it to a family or a small group of friends. My only issue is the lack of window shades as while there weren't many people that passed by, it's on a road frequented by cars and so it just felt very exposing to not be able to draw the shades in certain rooms. Other than that, it was cool and I'd visit it again.
