What a nice cemetery. Most of my maternal relatives are buried here and I made a trip up to see them. The atmosphere was very peaceful, it is definitely a good final resting place. I will be back soon to visit more family.
I visited Holy Sepulchre in August 2019 for family research. Several ancestors and immediate family members are buried here.
Prior to my trip, I had requested several interment burial records so that I could easily find the actual burial sites, instead of walking around and attempting to locate burial locations myself. That would have been pretty much impossible. The staff promptly mailed me records and maps of the sections of each family member that I requested.
Upon my visit, I arrived at the Cemetery to see that the entire property was well maintained. Using the maps provided by staff, I easily found the majority of the burial sites. When I was unable to locate some, I went into the office and asked the front office staff, who actually remembered my name due to them sending me so many interment records. They explained that not all burial sites have a headstone which may prove a little difficult locating some sites, though I was assured that they were buried there. The 2 ladies int he front office were extremely helpful!
I know there is one star review posted here regarding the deer and wildlife. It's not the deer's fault that their natural habitat is disappearing due to the tearing down of their land for new builds in the area. They were peaceful during my visit and caused no bother to me.
Thank you office and maintenance staff for maintaining the Cemetery as professionally as you currently are. My deceased family members deserve a respectful, peaceful resting place.
