(May 23, 2023, 11:05 am)Generations of my family have been coming to Gelotti for decades. I was introduced to this special place by my stepfather, who grew up in Paterson. He always told us that when he died we should visit him in the cemetery and then go next door to Gelotti for ice cream and memories. Now we do that. They have a fantastic selection of gelato as well as soft and hard ice cream and even ice cream cakes. These wonderful cakes were the centerpiece of many celebrations in my family. If you're looking for ice cream, this is as good as it gets.

(December 26, 2022, 9:25 pm)Update: wow came back home to find the whole building upgraded and a larger menu. I Moved to florida, but as soon as i come back to nj to visit my fam, i go to the legendary gelatti. Summer or winter time.....don't care, they are delicious.

The shop is huge , the service is good
But , the ice cream could be bit better , investing so much in a nice shop and giving just above average of ice cream does not make sense to me ...
I was between 3 and 4 stars , and decided to give 4 , but again they are just above the line ...
It's definitely not bad
Pricing is Ok too
