  We are from Texas, but we’re fortunate enough to live in West Windsor, NJ from 2006 thru 2009. We made it a point to bring visiting family to this historic treasure. Wandering around the meticulously maintained grounds gave us a real sense of how our founding families lived. What a treat! Thanks to the hard working staff for preserving such an important and beautiful place.

  Lovely and interesting historic site. Was very impressed with the structures and how clean and well maintained everything was. We commended the rangers on a job well done! Stopped by on a weekday, and it was very quiet. However, they do demonstrations in the mill on the weekends and during special events.

  Really nice place! I'm local and never knew this was nearby. It's a beautifully maintained park with a number of interesting historic structures. It was fascinating to go inside and see the inner workings of the old mill!

  What an amazing historic place! This is a must for picnics, homeschooling, children, romantic dates, history buffs! What a peaceful hidden gem. Wonderfully preserved. Beautiful 5 generation family story. Reminds me of Allaire State Park but on a smaller scale. Incredibly interesting and worth the trip! Fabulous working grist mill with very knowledgeable county guides.

  This is a beautiful, meticulously maintained historic village, hidden away in Upper Freehold. This isn't a particularly large park, but it is very charming and rarely has a large crowd. The staff/ volunteers are very friendly and are more than happy to give you a tour and fill you in on the property's rich history. Special thanks to Barbara for the mansion tour.
