  Beautifully preserved these large stone houses look impressive even today, easily accessed from the center of town, Huguenot street is well worth a visit. There are written descriptions of the houses that explain when they were constructed and added too

  We didn't get to visit last time so we decided to finall check it out this time. It was such a great experience. All the buildings are just so gorgeous to look at and take in the history. Strongly suggested!

  Interesting history of New Paltz.
  The $12 cost was for a personal tour that gets you into a few of the buildings that are otherwise locked. There is a free download app for a walking tour.

  We stop in this historic place after a hike with friends in Bonticou peak. I love history and learning how previous settlements were and this one is very interesting.
  
  I really enjoyed New Paltz and everything that it has to offer; hiking, food, and history.

  Go support this awesome museum! We went on the boos & brews on a whim and really enjoyed the experience and our guide. We stumbled upon this on our drive from Philadelphia to Canada and we're so glad we did. The value was also incredible. $20 and two beers included! 10/10. Can't wait to come back.
