(August 16, 2023, 10:12 am)I’ve brought my cars here for many years on and off. They’re always friendly and helpful and capable. I’ve never had them try to upsell me for anything I didn’t need.
My only reason for not giving five stars is that you have to leave your car for the whole day. There isn’t even a general idea of whether it’ll be repaired in the morning or the afternoon. -

(June 22, 2023, 2:49 pm)Being a single woman, I have always dreaded taking my car to a garage to be serviced. My experience with most other garages have been very frustrating. Each time I would take my car in for a simple thing they would tell me I needed 5 other things done. I know nothing about cars and always felt taken advantage of. A couple of years ago I took my car to Hammonasset Service Station in Madison, Ct.
I trust them and never feel taken advantage of. Their prices are completely appropriate, they take care of everything in a timely fashion and I have always been so happy with their work. I highly recommend their services. -

My car needed its brakes changed, and after struggling with other shops, Rich and others at the station were a breath of fresh air. They fit me into their schedule almost immediately, diagnosed the issue quickly, and got me reasonably priced and safe new parts. A few months later, my car is running so smoothly, a big improvement made easy!
