  In the course of my work, I visit many skilled nursing facilities. Hamden Rehab stands out as a truly first-rate facility. While the building is clean and well-maintained, it's the Team that works there that sets this community apart. The caregivers are consistently respectful and sensitive to the needs of their patients and I see them being supportive of residents' family members also. The kitchen staff and facility maintenance team always greet me with a smile.
  If you have a family member in need of short term rehab, long term support, or memory care, you'll definitely want to consider Hamden Rehab.

  Hamden Health care has taken excellent care of my mother..
  She has been there for a number of years and needs everything done for her.
  I recommend them very highly.

  Many of the staff are caring and give great care. As usual there are always some who are just there "for the job". However the bedside staff is woefully understaffed putting those who do show up under great stress. Always room for improvement but overall a better than average continuing care facility.

  My father has been here for almost 4 years, they treat him so well and are just so kind to him. I watch the staff and they honestly care about the residents and treat them with dignity and respect. The facility is extremely clean and well maintained. Stag staff always keeps me updated on his status and progress. The food seems to be really good by the way he eats. I am very satisfied with their care so far.

  My mom has been a patient at Hamden Rehabilitation and Health Care Center. It is the fourth different rehabilitation center that she has been a patient. This facility is by far the BEST. Everyone who works there cares about her and has gone above and way beyond their job descriptions. Everyone is smiling and spreads their happiness. It is very evident that they consider themselves a family, including their patients. I cannot say enough about all the employees.
