  Great local butcher, I recommend the smoked pork chops and smoked bacon, but I haven’t purchased anything I didn’t like. Prices are reasonable.

  About 40 years ago I remember going there as a 6-7 year old child and there had to be at least a 1/2 dozen or so butchers working in there every time my mother would take me.the convever on the ceiling with the hooks attached to it had sides of pork hanging from it, Everybody working there kept busy processing the pork and the line was usually out the door.Everything was and still is as fresh as you can get. in my 40+ years of life I have Never had Fresher tasting pork anywhere but Hains Pork Shop 40 years later I still go there I'm Never disappointed, That's proly why they've been operating for over 150 years.

  Their bacon, breakfast sausage and Canadian bacon are delicious. I've also had their pork loin which is also very good. Due to Covid they have an outside window for phone orders and another for walk ups. They have a menu with pricing posted for the walk ups. During the holidays (Easter, Christmas, New year's, etc) I recommend phoning in your order to make sure you get what you want. You will not be disappointed with their products.

  This place has been here forever and you couldn't find a better local business to spend your money. They have great quality and customer service. Parking is across the street and the shop is set back down a driveway on the other side. If you have never been to this place before it can be a tad confusing. There is one handicap parking spot down the driveway directly in front of the store. I would definitely suggest if you have a larger order that you call ahead. They will have it boxed and ready on your arrival. Othrrwise you will wait a bit while they cut and prepare everything. They do accept credit cards here.
