Wonderful people! Great place to stay!!!
For having been there a couple of times already, i can only truly admire how authentically this house can give you a warm feeling of well-being. As a French man this is always good being back into this property : very welcoming atmosphere, dark wooden floors, big garden (with a small river down the hill, which is really the cherry on the top for me!). Awesome Christmas time memories there and also nostalgia from the chilling vibes this place sends you during summer time.
I highly recommend it !
It was my first time in the USA and thanks to Paul and Faye I was really able to immerse myself in their culture. They are fine gourmets, the meals shared together were delicious. You feel like home. The decoration is warm and typical. Don't hesitate for a second!
I stayed there a week for a class reunion, its an amazing place well equipped, big rooms and great hosts.
I highly recommande this place. You will have an memorable experience with Faye and Paul.
We had a marvelous day visiting Watertown Country Estates! The proprietor’s, Paul and Faye, welcomed us with wine on the back patio overlooking their property with a relaxing afternoon ahead of us. Great conversation with their 3+ decades of owning their Estate and the history of how the CT Hurricanes changed the landscape, remarkable! They are extremely knowledgeable of the area and suggestions with Points of Interest will definitely provide repeat visits to their neck of Connecticut. Paul then serves us up a wonderful lunch of Bistro Filet, homemade Onion Tart, crisp salad ending with his famous hand dipped chocolates covered strawberries and tangerines!! I would recommend their accommodations for a truly New England experience!
