  My husband and I have stayed here twice for when we come up to our daughter’s camp for visiting day. The motel is like a bed and breakfast. The rooms are lovely and modern. The bed is very comfortable! The breakfast spread is awesome. Tammy and her husband are very nice and accommodating. We will be back again at next years visiting day!

  The Green Acres Retreat surpassed our expectations in so many ways. Yes, it is a restored 1950’s motel and as such the rooms are small and the location was rural. But the motel, it’s staff, and management were amazing. The newly renovated rooms are small, but every inch of the space was beautifully designed, and the amenities were exceptional (safe, microwave, mini fridge, toaster, TV, Wi-Fi, coffee machine with pods, AC/heat, dishes, silverware & glasses). Each room is well depicted on their webpage! Tammy cooked up an amazing breakfast each morning in the spacious common area which had 2 separate large wood tables, kitchen bar seating and 2 other living room spaces to spread out and eat or just relax, play games or watch TV. The front of the hotel, while off a main road, had plenty of space to hang out, with Adirondack chairs surrounding a large fire pit, picnic tables and a gazebo. It’s a great place for a family or work retreat or just to relax and enjoy the fishing and local river activities. 9 rooms have been remodeled, sounded like they were finishing the rest over the winter. The staff went out of their way to make sure we had a wonderful time!

  Group of us around twenty people recently stayed at the retreat for New Years celebration. Amenities and decorations have all recently been updated. Amazing property with an amazing view. But what makes the place truly a gem are the two caretakers of the retreat. Frank and Tammy co-manages the property. Friendly, caring, and Tammy’s biscuits and gravy are to crave for! About 40 minute out from Elk Mountain Ski Resort. Would stay there again!

  We were here over a weekend in room 107. The room was clean and stuffed with everything we could have needed. Tammy and her team were wonderful. Breakfast was much more than the typical continental and delicious. The room was modern and lovely - the public areas were well stocked and welcoming. It was a great weekend, and we couldn't have been happier with the Retreat. An excellent hidden gem.

  Green Acres Resort is a true gem! We just spent the weekend here with our team for our company retreat. The room was so comfy, we were in 115. It was one of the most comfortable beds I've ever slept in and for a small room it was amenity packed - shampoo and conditioner, nicely outfitted little kitchen, bathrobes, large supply of nice towels. There is a shared space where Tammy makes a very delicious and hearty made to order breakfast. There are several living room spaces to sit and relax, as well as a fire pit and gazebo. You cannot do better for the price. Tammy and her team were helpful and always smiling, definitely went above and beyond to make our weekend special.
