  Go No Sen loves their students. They are family run FOR families. My son enjoys being part of their karate community. During the pandemic, they did everything imaginable to encourage their students learning remotely. And they have taken every imaginable precaution during reopening. It's obvious their leadership cares a great deal. I highly recommend.

  My family has been a part of Go No Sen for over six years. They do a phenomenal job teaching kids not only karate, but how to be a good leader and friend to others. The classes are taught by master instructors with advanced students from their leadership program assisting. As an educator I always take special interest in teaching methods. It is clear that Go No Sen teachers receive training in how to teach children of all ages and abilities. The online instruction has been amazing since the first day of quarantine. They have managed to keep the classes consistent and fun, without any technological problems. They should probably give lessons on how to use Zoom as well. Go No Sen is one of the few indoor activities I will consider for my kids as NYS reopens. I trust that they have put maximum effort into providing a safe place for our children.

  I have greatly appreciated the continued lessons for my son during the COVID-19 pandemic. The seamless transition to remote, the kind support during this terrible time, is so greatly appreciated. My son was able to continue to be challenged and part of a community and not feel so alone. The instructors are amazing and always recognize the effort of the children. The excel at offering kind support while challenging the students. Keep up the great work!

  Our family cannot say enough good things about Go No Sen! Our son has been practicing karate there since he was about five, he is almost 9 now. We began at the Peekskill location but moved to the Cortland Manor one shortly after due to it being closer to our home. It is a wonderful location, with very clean facilities, a professional staff, and incredible instructors. We are so happy to be part of this family, please consider doing the same!

  I highly recommend go no sen karate. We have been lucky enough to be in the go no sen karate family for several years and twins love it. There are not many places I trust with my kids but this is one of them. They are so accommodating and understanding if I have to make any adjustments to memberships or classes due to our schedules etc. You just really feel like Renchi and his staff are trying to teach your kids to keep trying harder, be your best self, be proud of yourself. It’s just so much more than “karate“ going on in their dojo. 5 stars
