(November 19, 2022, 5:16 pm)I've been coming to Gem house for a while and always have great things to say, but this week I went from blonde to red somewhat on a whim with Ellen who fully embraced my somewhat split second decision and managed to turn my vague instructions into exactly what I wanted!!! I always love what I come away with, but this one takes the cake!

(September 7, 2022, 1:14 pm)Love gem house! I’ve been seeing Rod for 1 year now and he really is the best!! He always listens to my crazy ideas and makes them a reality that actually looks good. Last week, he was able to take my hair from red to blonde in only 2-3 hours. Rod always makes me feel comfortable AND he has great stories. The studio is clean, beautiful, and they offer great drinks.

The gal who washed my hair was awesome! It was so much more than a quick wash, she took her time and massaged my scalp. It was so relaxing and de-stressing.
Amanda did a phenomenal job with listening to what I wanted and offering tips and advice along the way. At the end of the cut I wanted to make a small adjustment to my bangs and she didn’t hesitate, she is an amazing hair artist. My haircut turned out just the way I had envisioned, I’ll definitely be coming back. Thank you! -

(May 24, 2021, 1:04 pm)I've been a longtime client of Elle Kinney who is the co-owner of this salon + I couldn't be any more excited and happier she has her own salon now. She is a color expert and has helped me maintain a healthy blonde/bronde balayage for many years and even did a teal blue on me a few years ago. She gives the best personal recommendations for styling - especially since my everyday routine is limited now that I'm a working mom. This salon is so cute- from glassware to the wallpaper in the bathroom. They carry Kevin Murphy products which smell amazing and also works well.

(March 29, 2021, 12:29 pm)I cannot say enough good things about Gem House!! It was the best word-of-mouth recommendation I've ever gotten. After making the mistake of coloring my own hair during quarantine, it seemed like it was ruined. I went to multiple different professionals to fix my mistake. Jay was my savior though! She took the time to consult with me and really understand what I had done to it so she could correct it for me. Additionally, she helped me establish a plan for color treatments moving forward. I was so hesitant about having my hair cut since I've been trying to grow it out for a couple of years, but she gave me a great new style with only needing to take half an inch off.
The customer service at Gem House is incredible too. From the moment I walked in the door, I felt like I was at a spa. They take and hang my jacket for me, make a delicious latte (or wine and beer is available), and provide you with snacks!
Finally, IT'S A BEAUTIFUL SALON! Everything from the large windows, the bathroom wallpaper, and the music playing.
Truly an exceptional experience.
